About Us

Additional Information

The North Carolina Order of the Knights of Pythagoras is an non-profit mentoring organization composed of youth between the ages eight to eighteen years.  NCKOP is sponsored by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of North Carolina.  The focus of NCKOP is to work on developing the skills needed for our youth to be successful in life.   We have Knight Councils throughout the state in many cities/towns.  Each Council works under the sponsorship and personal supervision of Prince Hall Masons and it’s subordinate lodge.  Our program is all about mentoring and providing an educational environment with the primary goal to aid our youth in their all-around development.

The number of councils and our membership in our state is growing.  If NCKOP is a program you are interested in joining or you are a parent and want more information, simply click “contact us.”  By submitting a request through the “contact us” portal, we will respond within 48 hours.  If you are looking for a council near you, we can identify the closest council and ensure you get more information on how to join.

Day of Comfort

The Knight Day of Comfort is observed near Thanksgiving or Christmas time. In the belief that no man can be a good citizen if he does not take cognizance of those less fortunate to himself, it is the duty of brothers to bring joy and comfort into the lives of others. Crippled children, orphans, older persons, the hospitalized, the friendless, and poor are visited, presented with gifts, entertained, taken on outings, or provided with some means of comfort and remembrance.
